Mr. Naval K. Varma has over 32 years of experience in general contracting on major public works construction projects for several entities, including the Los Angeles Unified School District and the Los Angeles Community College District, City of Long Beach, City of Alhambra, and other major entities in Southern California. Naval has worked along side Kahromic Contracting managing large scale projects such as street improvements, highway construction, and subterranean structures.
Mr. Varma oversees current projects and facilitates their progress by coordinating the efforts of the owner, the owner’s authorized representative, the architect and the engineer. He works with construction managers to implement schedules and contingencies. He also works with manufacturers and suppliers to source materials that meet the client’s and architect’s specifications.
Mr. Varma monitors progress in accordance to the schedule and anticipates problems so they are resolved prior to impeding the progress of the project.
Naval was involved in the design of heat reducing programs for Los Angeles School Districts involving over 3000 Elementary school classrooms, paying special attention to cost and sound levels.
